Southern Charm in Onancock, Va

This boutique hotel is located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in the historic town of Onancock just four blocks from the deep-water harbor on picturesque Onancock Creek, which empties into the Chesapeake Bay. Though constructed in 1907 as the White Hotel, the building had not served as a hotel for more than 60 years when it was purchased by Charlotte and Gary Cochran. After reconstruction, the hotel now features a full-service bar, a restaurant, and eight guest rooms.

The Restaurant

The award-winning restaurant features a menu that is prepared using many Eastern Shore products. It is with great pride that we support local watermen, farmers, and area businesses. Because much of our fare is made from locally available ingredients, the menu changes frequently, often daily.

Entree choices normally include meat, fish, fowl, and a vegetarian selection. Entree prices range from $15 to $35. Everything is house-made, including the ice cream! Our bar is well stocked, and the extensive wine list offers selections from around the world.

Open for Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch everyday from 8:00am - 2:00pm, and dinner from 5:00 - 9:00pm each evening
